Must have Yogurt!

Took Lily to Target to pick up some things.

When she wants something, she'll point at it and make a noise to get
my attention.

Walked through the cookie and candy aisles, and most of the other
aisles, with absolutely no requests.

Walk by the yogurt in the cooler, and she points at it and makes a
noise, as I walk past it she starts squealing while pointing, until I
get one and hand it to her.

Lola was much the same way. She'd be really good in the toy section -
but I couldn't take her any where near clothes and shoes...

No and Sharing

I got a video of this. when I have the patience for it I'll upload it
somewhere...

anyway, I had Lily sitting on the counter and Tristan sitting at the
counter and I was giving them strawberries, one at a time.

Well, every time I gave Tristan one, Lily would yell "no!" at him, so
I decided to try and get a video of it.

Well, she says no, then she grins because she knows why I'm
videotaping (yes, I know, I shouldn't encourage her) and squeals at
him again. He then, without a second thought, hands the strawberry to
her.

I was floored

and of course got him another one (the last one) since he was such a
good sharing brother.

Lily wanted it. made complaining baby sounds.

When he'd just about finished it, he walked up to her highchair and
gave her the last little bit.

mini micro

Neal had been in a video game on his computer.

Lily managed to tab out of the game and then use the mouse to go to
the start menu and select Firefox and opened Firefox.

I guess she wanted to surf. (she does love looking at pictures on
Flickr with me.)

Hello

Lily waved at me and said "hewva" her version of hello.

I waved back, but didn't say anything.

Then she says, in an insisting tone, "hewv-o" with an emphasis on the 'o'

So I said "hello" and waved. and that made her happy
