Lily's sitting in my lap, watching the computer screen and saying
that. now she's playing with the mouse. :)

playing piano and such

Lola got a keyboard for Christmas, from Nanna, also. She loves it.

Lily just loves it too, and was playing with it quite a bit today.

She also loved her brother's santa gift.

She got a stuffed ty elephant, called P'Nut from Santa and she would
play a game w/ me where she'd hug it, give it to me and then I'd hug
it and give it back.

Then we played an alternative version where we were switching back and
forth with her baby (it started with just the baby back and forth
she'd rock it, then I rocked it, and I introduced the elephant to
switch.

watching a late night cartoon that has some melodic singing.

Walking

She apparently took 6 steps across the kitchen floor at her grandpa's.

She's been trying but not willing to take more than a step or two
w/out holding on.

though I did walk around with her outside while holding her hands
yesterday and she walked from the playground closest to our apt to her
dad standing outside the door.

Yo-Yo Ma

I am such a .... I don't know.

I couldn't resist and gave them their present early (imma doing the
real shopping on friday anyway)

anyway. the classical music on tv seems to have lowered the volume in
my household just a bit. and it is much more relaxing than regular tv.
:D

dvd we're watching, vol 3 struggle for hope, had too much explaining
how they made it in the beginning but the music is beautiful.

she bats at my puter and I say no, and she looks up at me and says no, no.

and she is playing with her toy phone on her ear now

and earlier I tossed a couple toys I thought she was going to grab out
of a container and she put the one she didn't want back.

and she was trying a step at grandpas today and then flopping down and crawling.

On the phone

Godmom got Lily a phone for her birthday and delivered it last
Thursday, when I was stuck home because the hubby was sick.

Well now Lily's been playing like she's on the phone.

but not just with the toy phone,

with other things,

like she set of plastic measuring spoons on a ring she likes to play with.

Lily's figured out the arrow keys scroll down on the page, apparently.

though if I keep flickr pictures scrolling along on the screen she's
less likely to try and mess with the laptop itself.

Lily was like pulling on my shirt and I figured she wanted to nurse.

nope.

she wanted to point at my belly button, over and over...
